BEAUTIFUL MILANO

Hello again :)

I can't believe I'm only just getting round to posting this blog about Milan... and I'm going again in a few days! Eeeek! I've been quite busy because I popped home for a few days! I wanted to surprise my mum since it was just after Mother's Day in the UK :) I have just come back from a layover in LONDON! Unfortunately I was taken off my Barcelona flight :( This sometimes happens because the load of passengers is too light, and because I am very junior in the company at the moment, they often take us juniors off and put us onto other flights where we're needed. So in my case, I was off to London Heathrow! I did what I usually do, go shopping and stock up on Primark/Topshop/River Island/M&S/Tesco supplies...

Anyway, I'll get back to MILAN! If you've been folloing my Instagram you'll know how obsessed I was with this layover. Milan is such a gorgeous city with such beautiful buildings. It was quite a cloudy day but it didn't stop us enjoying the pretty views.

Outside the Duomo. We didn't go inside because the queue was soooo long! It was a Sunday so that may be why. I'm going again in a few days so hopefully I will be able to go inside then :)

I thought it would be funny to pretend I had food in my hands... clearly didn't think it through hahahha!

We walked a little further from the Duomo and into the Quadrilatero d'Oro - one of the most expensive fashion districts in the world! Unfortunately none of us had won the lottery so it was just admiring the wondering displays in the windows for us!

We ended the afternoon with some delicious Italian food and coffee :) We ate at Granaio Caffè e Cucina and I got a really yummy pizza followed by a cappucino. It was such a cute little restaurant in the city centre. They served marshmellows with our coffee which was so sweet :)

I LOVED MILAN (in case you can't tell) and I'm so happy to have it again so soon. I think I will make use of the fact that it is a fashion capital of the world and possibly splurge a little... or a lot! Let's see haha.

I honestly can't even remember the flight back to Dubai! So it must have been breezy :)
