Hiii again! :)

As you may remember me saying, my first flight was to Bangkok! I can't believe how lucky I was to get such a good layover for my first one :) I was really nervous before going, mainly because I was worried that I'd forgotten something important like my passport! (I checked to make sure I had it about several hundred times haha) The crew were so lovely on the flight, they showed me around the A380 (which is huuuuge - it was my first time on one!) and I also got to do a few meal carts/drinks :) It was actually quite fun. I felt like in training college it's stressful because we're getting assessed, but in real life you can have a chat to the passengers and it's really nice. It was a night flight so most passegers fell asleep soon after the service so we had plenty of time to clear things away :)

I arrived in Bangkok early morning, around 6am so I really needed sleep. I had made plans with one of the other girls who was a new joiner too. I met her late afternoon and we headed out to look for some nice temples :) We ended up going on a cute little boat ride and we saw lots of different ones. It was evening by the time the boat dropped us off in a little tourist trap called Asiatique.

It was so nice here, there were little markets, live singers, and so many Thai restaurants. I had an amazing prawn and vegetable curry with rice, and it only cost £2! I couldn't believe it haha. I bought some little souveneirs and then we decided to head back to the hotel to rest for the flight the next day.

All in all, it was a perfect first layover! At this point I didn't have much to compare it to though haha. Next time I'm in Bangkok I'm definitely going to make getting a massage my priority! :D
