SEP Training... is over!

Hello again! :)
I wish I could have blogged during SEP (Safety and Emergency Procedures) but it would have actually been impossible. For anyone who has already been through it, you'll understand! For those of you who haven't... well it's actually the most overwhelming two and a half weeks EVER! We had assessments every day, on one day we actually had 5! Plus 3 exams for general safety and two different aircrafts, it was haaaard to say the least! However, it's actually the most fun I've ever had "at work".
Everyone says it's intense, but it's also a great time to work with your batch mates and learn things that you never thought you'd do. Like opening and closing a cabin door. I always thought ground staff had to do it haha. And I also fought a real fire! I hope I never have to do that on board though. I know how to give the safety demonstrations before a flight, and also how to handle emergencies such as turbulance, decompression, or emergency landing and ditchings. It's crazy how much we've all learnt in just 13 days. On some days I didn't think it was possible for my poor brain to hold any more information.
There were tears but so much more laughter in the process. I feel like if I can get through SEP, the rest of training is going to be a breeze haha... I hope! I have GMT (Group Medical Training) next week though so let's see if I still have this positive attitude then haha.
Today I had a uniform fitting which was very exciting :) I can't wait to start wearing the official uniform. It's all going so fast and I still can't even believe I'm here! It feels like a dream to me... enjoy the pictures :)
